Submission Guidelines for Papers and Abstracts

Any paper submitted not following the guidelines will not be considered until changes are made in the paper.

  • Submit your works to Greg Ray: raygreg@niatec.isu.edu. He will confirm their arrival and be your primary contact point for questions. It is important that you identify which track is appropriate for your paper.
  • Papers must NOT have been presented elsewhere before the 2014 meeting or be under consideration by other conferences or journals. Accepted papers are NOT copyrighted by MPMC so they can be improved and published in another venue (i.e. journals).
  • Two copies of your work must be submitted.
    • The first file is to include all text, figures and author’s title page. The title page should include the author’s name (multiple if appropriate), home school, phone number and email address. This file is used in the Proceedings if accepted for presentation and inclusion in the Proceedings.
    • The second copy is the same as the previous except the title page should not include the authors. This file will be forwarded to the double-blind reviewers.
    • Papers, case-studies and abstracts should be submitted as Adobe Acrobat Portable Data Format (.pdf). If required we can make those changes from a .rtf or a Microsoft Word document; however we do not guarantee the same document flow. This means we will not do editing.
  • All papers must follow APA Style.
  • Please check the file for viruses prior to submitting, do not forward .exe files.
  • Papers accepted for presentation are included in the proceedings. Abstracts are not included in the proceedings.
  • Submissions should not exceed 25 double spaced pages, in TNR 12 point font, with 1” inch margins (top, bottom, left, and right).
  • Do NOT submit the same work to more than one track for review. If you are uncertain about which track to submit your work to, or have questions regarding the submission guidelines, contact James Frost at frosjame@isu.edu (208 282 4549).
  • A double blind review process will be followed for acceptance of the submissions.
  • Author(s) must register for the conference and at least one author must attend the conference to make the presentation. WE WILL NOT REVIEW THE PAPER UNTIL REGISTRATION IS COMPLETED.
  • Also, authors are requested to review at least two other submitted papers in your track.
